BOY>> NOW YOU GONE AN' DUN' IT
this is a stage 1.5 and my first modification page.. more to come .
up first.. what else i have gutted Dash, wiring, RCI seat.
|
this is the begining of stage two. you can see the seat.
well. this is another view of my first round of gutting. you can see the RCI seat. WOW these things are light..i lost over 20lbs just switching out the seat for the stocker.. and the seat was only 29$. bolted it right up. even using the stock van seat sliders.. |
|
Get in, Sit down,Strap in, and hold on.
you can see alot here. i havent had time to do the doors yet. but i have guteed the dash. you can see the plate i cut to bolt the RCi seat to the stock brackets. you can see that i'm still using the factory instruments augmented with a Air/fuel and a boost guage. there is something "sticky" on the steering wheel. i will be replacing it with a 19$ grant wheel from autozone. when i pulled all the wiring from the dash i sprayed it all white. from the out side is looks more like there is adash and the car is complete by spraying the panels white. with good eyes you can see the factory headlight switch inplace to keep the van street legal, and the factoryfuse box. |
|
A better shot of the driver area with the van running..
not much left. i hope this will pass tech at the race track.. although i doubt they will even look at the van closly untill after it runs. |
|
side shot.. how ya like the 86 turbo Z crab wheels?
got 4 wheels with three good tires for 100$!!!. i hadent gotten a tire for the 4th rim yet. hence the stock steel whell and white wall on the back wheel. she dont look bad from a disance. the factory turbo van exhuast tips are gone now. the only give away is the "TURBO" sticker.. it will have to stay. |
|
home made no cost ghettoacious cold air kit? yes it is a K&N
thank god for chop saws.. this shot was taken before i bought a lawn mower battery that saved at least 10lbs.. they felt like a huge difference, and it is right over the wheels now to figure out what to do with the PCV hose

here's a nice FMU a mustang wont be needing any more..
guys this is the easiest way to add fuel you will ever find.. i have a 4:1 disk in right now. and it stays rich.. if i feel im going to rich i will just put a bleed on the line going to the FMU. maybee tune it down to 2.5:1 or so.. what ever it takes. i traded a pro 5.0 shifter for a T5 for this FMU. i converted my stang to TKOII specs and TKO's dont use a stock T5 shifter base.. guys.unplug one fuel line. add 12inchs of fuel line from the FMU and a vacum/boost signal.. that is all it takes to hook one of these up.. |

This aint over yet.. as soon as i get my lazy azz up and take some pictures there will be updates
There is a 2-1/5 turn down clamped on to the factory down pipe right now, no muffler stuff. the timing is up to 14* and a 185* thermostat will be is very soon. update 12/04 . just smoked the tranny on my street doing some bonzia runs with out an exhuast.. guess 16PSI with no exhuast and an all stock tranny just didnt cut it. looks like i smoked the rear band!! ohh well.i have a tranny at the shop now getting a full manual valve body, a phantom grip LSD , 5 clutch rear drum set up.and a few other goodies..should be out soonish also have 4 DSM intercoolers for sale. email me for info to purchase. and i obtained 287 head casting and 44mm/38.6 MM valves!not installed but waiting on the tranny to get back in and my money to catch up.
